Why did I start a podcast? Herstories has been on my mind for years—4 or 5, to be exact. After countless calls with inspiring women, I kept thinking, I wish more people could hear these conversations.
I also couldn’t ignore how history—his-story—so often centers men’s voices while women’s stories remain in the background. With Herstories, I want to change that. And what better time to launch than during Women’s Herstory Month in 2023?
Turning 50 came with big life changes, and I realized it was time to prioritize myself and create space for the stories that need to be heard.
On Herstories, I’ll explore topics like:
– Divorce and co-parenting with a gay ex-husband
– Aging & menopause
– Navigating single parenthood
– Supporting a trans child
– Launching kids into adulthood
– The struggles of being a working mom
– The complexities of grief
So, let’s get started—because every woman’s story matters.
I’m a storyteller, connector, and lifelong relationship builder. With over 20 years in software marketing, I’ve spent my career bringing people together, sparking conversations, and amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.
So, what does that really mean? It means I love talking to people. I get a rush from learning their stories, making connections, and seeing the magic that happens when ideas and experiences collide. That’s why I created Herstories—to share these incredible stories with you.
I call Atlanta, Georgia, home, where I stay active in Pride and Human Rights Campaign initiatives and volunteer with dog charities. I’m off exploring the world with family and friends when I’m not working or podcasting.
